RCK Partners expands Irish presence and support to Irish businesses through partnership with consultancy led by former politician Phil Hogan
RCK Partners (“RCK”), a specialist tax advisory firm focused on R&D tax credits, today announces a new partnership with Hogan Consulting, as it expands its presence in Ireland. Through the partnership, RCK will work with thestrategic consultancy, led by former Fine Gael minister and EU commissioner Phil Hogan, to deepen its engagement with Irish businesses and support more companies in accessing R&D tax incentives.
The announcement comes amid renewed focus on Ireland’s R&D tax credit regime, following the publication of the Government’s Research and Development Tax Credit and Innovation Compass, underlining its importance to the economy and local businesses. RCK assists companies in navigating the R&D tax credit scheme with confidence.
RCK specialises in supporting innovative businesses to benefit from R&D tax credits, and the recent partnership with Hogan Consulting will strengthen RCK’s understanding of the Irish market and enhance RCK’s ability to support innovative companies undertaking research and technological development within Ireland. Phil will also provide strategic advice to RCK on the Irish market as the firm continues to expand its footprint in Ireland, whilst expanding its on-the-ground team this year.
Phil brings extensive experience from publicservice at both national and European level, having entered politics with hiselection to Kilkenny County Council in 1982 and later serving as Teachta Dálafor Carlow–Kilkenny from 1989 to 2014. He has also held several senior government roles, including Minister of State at the Department of Finance and Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government. At EU level, he was appointed European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, before serving as European Commissioner for Trade between 2019 and 2020.
